Since a long time ago I have been watching and analyzing some movies, tv shows and musics to use on my dinamic classes.
I noticed that we have good ones and some others that aren't so nice for a basic student, for example. So through this time I got some good ones dividing by the level of my students skills.
I'll put some them here:
House M.D
House M.D is an amazing show that I really like to pass for my students.
Although I believe that it isn't so good to use with Basic or Intermediate students. It work better in my opinion with High-Intermediate and Advanced level, because this show has a big and different vocabulary, actually is a little bit difficult to understand the story of the episodes if you don't know a little about technical words of medicine.
On the other hand, the stories are always very interesting and dinamic.
I believe that House M.D is one of the best shows to work in the advanced level.
Bridget jones's diary
This movie is a Comedy Romance, very simple to understand and to study the vocabulary of it.
I put it here because I believe that Bridget Jone's Diary is one of the best movies for those who want to know how is the British accent.
I recommend this movie for Intermediate students. If you are on a basic stage and want to practice a little, that's the movie that you can see, of course you aren't going to understand some words, but you are going to have a different and dinamic way to study English, in this situation British English.
Supernatural
Supernatural isn't a difficult show to understand, the vocabulary is mixed with words about magic, demons and the vocabulary that we use in our daily life. That's the different thing, on the same time we can hear crazy words in a normal conversation on a restaurant.
I recommend it for students of High-Intermediate, but as I told before, Supernatural isn't very difficult, so if you want to practice, just try it.

I prefer House in my humble opinion, I like this kind of series, House, CSI, Law and Order, and more!
